Nick, good idea...i actually believe that we will see massive inventory build-ups in all stages of production prior to Y2K in preparation for a worse-than-expected scenario. this should help commodities until then, and reinforce the Fed's misplaced concern with inflation.

Nick,
"The only thing to fear, is fear itself". Somebody important said that once.

Whether the Y2K fears are true or not, I believe that Mr. Market gets kicked in the nads.
