thanks Marc. I've been considering placing a "small" position myself as it is a great way to force diversification when a stock goes up fast. If the stock never hits, you get a nice premium and hold on to the shares.

Kirk re HWP:I just heard Pisani say on CNBC that someone just placed a huge bet on I believe August out of the money calls.

FWIW, without knowing if the person holds the stock long or short or already has an option position or positions in HWP the information by itself is financially meaningless. Very often huge "bets" are placed as a speculation, as a hedge, or to fully or partially offset risk that the person holds in the underlying.

Just after that piece on CNBC, I looked at a transaction log and to my untrained eye, it sure looks like someone selling the HWP calls, not buying.

If it were just about anyone but Bob P. I might give them the benefit of the doubt that they actually found out whether it was a specialist buy or sell <ggg>.

(he he, I knew someone on SI would post about this... u gotta love the search mechanism on SI :-)
