I wonder if in 6 months when we look back to the present time we will say we were in the early stage of a bear market with the final top of the great bull market of the 90's having been reached on July 16th 1999 which Bob identified as possible benchmark highs. Are rallies being used for distribution as the leaders of the bull market, internets, traditional high tech, financials and the pharmaceuticals are starting to roll over one after another. The only thing rallying at the moment is cyclicals and gold as one might expect near the end. Yes I still refuse to become a member of the Michael Burke thread<g> Marc
