Did you see the quote at the end (supposedly from AMD) about 2 million K7s available for OEM's? JC thinks it should read 200K. Probably it is somewhere between the two.

- AMD have been mass producing K7 for a month or so
- Any K7 produced are being stockpiled because no motherboards yet
- They have a glut of K6 and so can dedicate FAB capacity to K7

Could be building up in substantial numbers for when those mobos come online.

Well put. AMD will retaliate by ANNOUNCING. Just like they announced the MIA-thlon in June. Intel ships, AMD announce and you never see a difference.
