While CF prices are dropping they are not dropping fast enough. The cost of a 32MB and 64MB CF card are just too expensive for your average teenager or college student to afford. At 1meg/min for CD quality sound it's beyond the reach of the average consumer to have more than 1 card. Add to that the new music industry arcane rules for having to move the original song between your computer and your player, it makes the whole portable MP3 player concept problematic.
