Analysts rarely recommend selling a stock until that stock has been run down for so long, and has sunk so pitifully, that it has become a personal albatross: they want it released from their lists and their reputations.
Rival brokerages should follow suit, if only to shift their own customers to safety. The stock drops dramatically, then drastically.
