Or, as another put it, is the problem that the programmers are not actually using what they are programming. That's my favorite saying. Every programmer should be forced to use their own software (especially UI developers) for at least a month. Five days a week, eight hours a day. The end users have to go through their punishment why shouldn't the developers? Another favorite saying of mine is "Programmers write the best software for themselves". The best/highest quality software on the net is free - developed by programmers for themselves. Linux, Perl. It is amazing how that works. MH
