I'm optimistic here for sure, but then again, I'm NOT always.

As far as the BLS,USW,DT,QWST or any of the combinations it could be a long time cause somebody has to satisfy the Telecom Act first. Understanding it is probably a career job. Applying it.......wow. It's kind of hard determining whom has opened it's area for competition, when they could be under a common umbrella. Too deep for me.

Remember that Nacchio and Anschultz sold substantial amounts of stock at pre-split prices in the $90's just prior to their announced acquisition fiascoes. When CNBC questioned Nacchio about his insider sales the day the acquisition were announced, he replied that the sales were on a regular schedule and had no relation to the acquisitions. Well, so much for the regular schedule, the insiders haven't sold any shares since the price of QWST stock has dropped.

The way this stock price is depreciating, my hope for the long term is that the market will finally drive the price of the stock below the value that USW can exit from this mess. Then, QWST will resume a projected 45% growth rate rather than the 15% projected with the USW acquisition, the company will be taken out at a value above $50, and we will finally be rid of great ambitious Joe Nacchio, who in my opinion has demonstrated an arrogant disregard for the majority of QWST stockholders, except, of course, for himself.
