You are showing everyone WHO you really are, the other side than that miss smiley ex-debutante

I cook international cuisine (I did learned on my own not like your case where dada sent you to finishing school to learn cooking on his dime ...

ROFLMAO - debutante???

I'm a "coal miners daughter". Born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. I'm proud of my immediate and extended family. They worked hard. Did well.

I'm an "Eastern European" mongrel. Combination of Slovak, Croatian, Russian, Hungarian and Polish.

First generation primarly blue-collar. Second generation includes college-educated professionals. Cousin's financial director for Alexandria VA.

Never was a debutante. Was secretary of my senior class and a cheerleader. Mom taught me how to cook. When I lived in San Francisco, back in the 70's ... I did take private cooking lessons from a friend who studied at Cordon Bleu. (I paid for those lessons. Not dad.)

<No, that was NOT a quickie brief exchange we had- we pmed each other for about 3 weeks I believe, maybe what about 12?>

ROFLMAO - dream on!!!

BTW: Years ago when I was 16, I was jealous of a friend in high school that was having a "coming-out" party. You know. That debutante bit.

When I complained to mom, she said:

"Coming out party? Big deal. I had a party for you when you first came out. I'm not gonna have another one now."

LOL - I have a great mom:-))
