Thanks for beating me to that punch. I particularly loved the comment "3D is now a checklist item" for notebook buyers [in the same way CD-ROM is]. What hogwash. Who the hell needs 3D graphics in his laptop?

You're right. Neomagic's struggles are about capacity constraints, not the lack of a 3D offering.

Thanks to this article, we'll probably see yet another "buying opportunity" this morning . . .
