** To All ** All small investors that got in CGI (including myself) were hoping to get rich fast based on the past performance of the stock.

The 2 spikes (at 34.50 and 39.40 in Jan 99) gave us the confidence it was going to the moon. We WANTED that confidence. We NEEDED that confidence. the truth is....we can't HANDLE the swings! That's why small investors bail out. And bail out they did! It's natural. Everybody has their breakpoints.

But most investors in CGI were looking for a QUICK and FAST buck, short term investors. The bailout of the small guys like us drops the price. The market conditions only added to the fact that the majors news from CGI are not out, YET !!! BUT will be. You don't sign a major deal in 10 minutes.

How long do you thing it took for the Bell Sygma deal????

The fundamentals are there for CGI. NOW, it's only the jitters that drives the transactions. Emotions.

Can you all answer this question:
Will CGI show internal and external growth within the next 3-6 months?

Speak to your brokers, to your friends inside, ...... and find out. I personally feel that things will happen. An old press article where Monty was interviewed said that BCE wanted to increase CGI + BCE Emergis value big time thus increasing BCE's value. They need to do so in order to avoid being purchased by US competitors.

Deregulation will come. It's inevitable. So they need to become a big big fish, hard to swallow or too costly to acquire.

It's just been DISAPOINTING not to see any major news in the past 3-6 months. I hope CGI's CEO has his team working on this around the clock!!!! We want this before September !!!
