John, your point with regards to current flash cards is valid. However, the internet music industry is still undergoing a laborious delivery; once fully born, most will be amazed at the speed with which it gains acceptance. I'm afraid your vision of the future is a bit clouded, but things will be quite clear in 6 months time for all to see. Finalization of anti-piracy standards is one week away; things will snowball from there. Hope you don't get run over because you chose to look the wrong way.

<Is a $10 Clik! disk a cheaper long term solution ? possibly.>

Personally, I would buy the player that had the lowest overall cost as long as quality was similar.

If Clik! could play "CD transparent" music, I would save as much money as possible.

On the other had, are the teenagers paying for this? Some how the teenagers didn't have a problem buying $100 sneekers. Thanks to them, I have to pay top dollar for my sneekers also... well more than I think is reasonable.

I think it all comes down to marketing. Put an EDIG player in some Micheal Jordan sneekers..."I believe I can fly...."
