I have had several responses about SI NOT being free. However, I have also been notified by several folks that signed on to SI. . .free of charge. . .instantly. . .and with no conditions regarding 'two weeks' and without a credit card number or any other restriction.

I have also read where the "official" word is that SI will not be free.

Yet, anyone can join free of charge here:
beta.siliconinvestor.com
or by simply logging on to the beta site from the home page here:
beta.siliconinvestor.com Then selecting "Join Silicon Investor" then clicking on "Register Now" under the Log in box where it reads:

Create a new account
Creating a new account is free and easy. Register now!

This takes you to the same page as the first link does.

Now I don't know what is not free about free, but it sure looks free. . .and no credit card is required. . . and registration is instantaneous. . .so if there is another word that better describes this form of registration, without using the word 'free' I'd like to know.
