I made a good-natured attempt to try-out Navigator from the 4.6 version. I installed it and started it up and played with the bookmark function for a minute. No import feature -- STUPID idea on the part of Netscape: that's like having a party and not inviting anyone. I guess you could play your music loud but kinda limits the possibilities.

Played with the little tabs that let you make the toolbars appear and disappear.

Looked at the toolbar that was left over when I had the other two tucked out of sight. It was nearly empty. When you do the same with ie, all the functions of the other toolbars get spread out on the remaining one.

That's when I closed it down and uninstalled it. Phooey.

Mark,

>>are you using the beta/turbo SI?<<

From time to time I sneak over there to see if there is any changes from the last time I visited. Like you, I think I will start using it more if that is what they are going to change to.

>>it sure would be fun to just show wily once and for all that ie really is the weaker browser. <g3> <<

I didn't run the pro part so wasn't able to make a comparison. Since I am running both browsers at their latest versions, maybe later I will go check to see which one is better.

Note: If IE comes out on top, there's no way I am going to let wily know. I'll just post here on this tread, "TO ALL BUT WILY" :-)
