People dont like $ill because he is a thief. He steals ideas from hard working entrepeneur's and canabilize their companies. As a shareholder he is adreamboat, but people dont like bullies and thieves. Bill gates is a Bully and a thief. I respect him, and admire what he has built, but he is no Irwin Jacobs or Scott Mccneely. They are underdog's and we Americans LOVE underdog's!

Wireless Knowledge is Mighty Q! and The Tiger. Not a bad combination.

All the same, you are closer to the mark when you say:

$ill's crowd depends on an ad hoc 'standard' with competitors looming in all directions...

and one or more of those competitors' [do I have the apostrophe in the right place?] entrants as an os to become a wireless applications standard of the future is likely to have significant influence in wireless appliance users' selection of the most user friendly and powerful appliance. Let's hope WK really does put a tiger in the CDMA tank and not a legacy-inhibited "standard" that spits sand in the smooth functioning CDMA gears.

Btw, it's ETSI, not SETI, I believe.

Best. Steven
