Nemer is in.

BTW, it has been suggested that we make this a bit more like real trading in that we all start with $250,000K in the account and can trade 10 contracts. Point value would be the large $250, but we still would post trades off of mini pricing as that is easiest and fairest for everyone.

Then if your account dipped to $225,000 you could only trade 9 contracts, $200,000, 8 contracts, $275,000, 11 contracts and so on. This would be updated at the close and I would include a line indicating how many contracts you can trade the next day.

If we do this I would throw out the 1/2 margin for day trading rule as that would get too complicated....it would be full margin required. If your capital dipped at the close to only allow 9 contracts and you were carrying 10, I would automatically close out one position at the closing value of the day. If your value at the end of the day allows you to carry another contract, you can add at the open of the next trading day.

What does everyone think? Adds a touch of complexity, but it would more accurately simulate real life trading conditions.
