yes I wasn't bothered my the word FREE till Mr. Softy came along. I would love to see AOL have an a adequate come back, just for the drama of it all. G

However, changing ISPs is not that easy. What happens to your e-mail addr? Also, MSFT will have to bulkup on their POPs. AOL has by far the largest number of POPs in the country. Another thing. MSFT has not succeeded in anything outside of software. I dont think AOL should be too worried unless MSFT teams up with some other organization like AT&T/excite@home etc.. --Olu E.

Most AOL users don't have the smarts to load up Netscape or IE and take advantage of a free ISP. No AOL users are capable of creating a "dial-up adapter" in windows 95/98/NT. That's why they pay $22/month forever. We are talking about people who can just barely put a disc in a drive. Should I go on...........this is starting to sound like dumb-blonde jokes. AOL customers are destined to stay as they are. There is a correlation with intelligence here. Your investment is safe.
