I am net short. I am very bearish, especially for the 2nd and 3rd tier internet stocks. But even when the market was good I was close to market neutral. This year has had so many good frauds and hype jobs, I have made most of my gains on the short side, including 3 SEC halts. I think the majority of my shorts will go to zero eventually, and a bull market won't help them. Now, while I think WAVX is unlikely to ever have a real business, it is nowhere near my most promising short. WAVX and KOOP are my two most risky shorts now, in my opinion. And thus the two I will probably cover if I think the market is turning.
