GZ: If the INDU stays above -60 during the first hour, I think it can work. Buyers need some nurturing here and they will run for the barn if things get bad quickly.

You are now the second person who suggested to me the Aug 4th/5th timeframe as a turning point, but your read of it and the other person's are diametrically opposed. I believe you are looking at the shorter term trend, which was down and concluding the turning point is higher. The other was looking at the daily and weekly trend and saying the turning point is lower.

Interesting.

Frank's charts on SPX really show how oversold ( for quite a time duration)the market is. I was really surprised as it made the october 7 th time period look lighter than I remembered it?.

With bear market sentiment having increased substantially it sets up a possible bears squeeze rally . IMHO
