A 28-year old architect caught #500 - estimates for the value for the ball range from $100k to $1M. #501 was quite impressive too. It was hit extremely hard, and was barely past the peak of its arc when it slammed into the scoreboard, then bounced off a seat and back onto the field. Gwynn got #2999 late in the game, but that was it. The St. Louis fans saw what they wanted, though. Adam
