How so? Why less of a hassle? Do you mean that the order and installation process is better with TCI?

I ask because I think I agree with you. Although it's a simple task to self-install the DSL router for US West and they even provide good instructions for self-installation, the USWest ordering system is very messed up. They lose orders. They connect lines in the CO to the wrong place causing one to lose everything (POTS and DSL)... Horror stories abound.

It sounds from what you say that T has their act together on the order-fulfillment end of things.
