Rtev, "ugly" boxes, yes - I like them, a precious rare bit of separation, IMO. (I'm assuming you're referring to the boxes around individual messages - i.e. the one you're reading now.) Window size 600x480. Stretch-to-fit. No idea. Same settings I had as before, but a site that's considerably more difficult to use and read. I fear this will no longer be useful for my research and can definitely see me giving up this site. That's a strong reaction, I know, but to me this is so obviously botched an idea, never mind flying in the face of great wisdom like "if it ain't broke...", that it deserves a strong reaction. Some threads go in sequential order, some (this thread) have the newest message at the top. The "next" button is the one I use most, yet it is the smallest and farthest away, etc. etc. etc. And it is in no way faster for on my machine.
