I hear from a high performance user that Windows 2000 beta is really hot stuff. All the Microsoft stuff works really well together. He's really happy. Especially with a high speed ADSL line. Buy a new USB Scanner, plug it in and before you get to look at the screen, it's all installed and ready to scan. Japanese works well, in email and all sorts. All bells and whistles. Fast.
