OT (non-English language support in English Windows) Maurice, if you're looking to use Japanese in Windows, you don't have to wait for the 2000 beta. Internet Explorer and Outlook already let you view Japanese text, and MS has a free add-on (Asian language pack or somesuch) on that lets you view Japanese MS Word files in English Word 97 or higher, and another add-on (Japanese IME editor) that lets you type Japanese in IE and in Outlook email messages. Seems to work fine. Only drawback is inability to run double-byte programs such as Japanese MS Word, for which you still need the Japanese version of Windows. I think MS's language support is similarly extended to Korean, maybe Chinese, and Arabic. Don't know about others, or if Windows 2000 offers the killer extra, which would be running double-byte apps instead of just shell support.
