xcr600,

The GUMM shorts are more emphatic than the longs. How many recent posts about GUMM have been made on the GUMM thread, or all of SI for that matter, compared to the number of posts on this thread from short sellers? Bill feels compelled to put a plug in for GUMM in posts that don't even have anything to do with GUMM. The only reason that longs post on this thread is to refute the bogus, misleading, and outright lies from short sellers. If short sellers would stop posting about GUMM in that context on this thread, I'd be willing to bet that the number of posts from longs would dwindle to zero.

One thing that the stocks on your list have in common are small floats. The floats range from 9 million to 23 million shares, with the exception of IDTC which has a whopping 34 million shares outstanding. Something tells me that the number of shares outstanding is a leading criteria in Bill's scans. I can't imagine why.

Best regards,

Dan
