I agree on the 5 dollar commision,i certainly wouldnt mind if they did it for a year,but why would you think that pass through fees would be good if we can get a fill with any ecn at no additional cost but the commision? thanks wallstreeter

When looking at this comparison, one has to realize that the fees that I am showing for Cornerstone are the fees for the HOUSTON market which is one of the most competitive. Cost could be higher in your respective areas. It does show that a flat fee is not necessarily cheaper though. The differences do begin to diminish if one is buying 4000 and 5000 share lost. Then the flat fee becomes more attractive. Cost for MB Trading which has no pass thru Fees and just a fixed price.
