FWIW, I used to buy a ton of stuff from them, but have had enough bad experiences with them to stop shopping there.
Specifically, they have a tendency of showing that a book will ship in 24 hours until you place an order, at which time they
e-mail you saying that they don't actually know when it will be shipped. In one case, a book they claimed to have in stock
shipped four months later. My e-mails about it were either ignored or met with (presumably automated?) non-responsive
replies.

Are you trying to say the customer service was not that good<G>?

Just to balance out the viewpoint here, I've ordered approximately five books from barnesandnoble.com over the past six months, and had a great a experience with all my orders - finding the books was easy, on-line ordering was easy, and the books arrived within 2-3 days as I expected.

Thanks,
-Eric
