Excellent Christopher! Here is another one I thought you would enjoy.

There is one responsibility which no man can evade; that responsibility is his personal influence. Man's unconscious influence is the effect of his words and his actions on others. Every moment of life man is changing to a degree, the life of the whole world.

Man can cultivate sweetness, calmness, trust, generosity, truth, justice, loyalty, nobility and make them vitally active in his character. This comes from what a person really is, not from what he pretends to be.

Thank you, Chris, for recalling for recalling to me this poem. I shall take it to heart myself. And I am reminded of Portia's speech on the quality of mercy as well.
