This rumor seems to have a lot of truth behind it.

Do you remember the flap a week ago when it was rumored that AOL and Yahoo would buy XCIT and take a position in ATHM? This was quickly denied by Bell of Excite-At Home.

Now we learn from the NY times that some deal is in the works, and that Bell seems to be out of the loop. Also both T and AOL are not commenting this time. Perhaps, Bell is creating a red herring, so as to divert attention from AOL or T.

Something big is cooking behind the scenes.
This is the time, in my opinion to buy, and not to sell. I certainly am buying, and I have no desire to hype AOL--this stock is just too big to hype on any board.

Best of luck,

DA.
