I don't own any WCOM, but have been looking at it ( my son told me to buy it when it was 26, but I didn't listen). The rate cut interested me because I noticed that the cheaper my hourly rate, the bigger my long distance bills. That's because with a low rate I chat a lot more and don't think about the price like I did back in the bad old days when long distance was quite pricey.
Don't know if I'm typical, but if so, then cutting rates doesn't really hurt long distance companies very much.
Of course, the drop to 77 and change is interesting, too.
