(These aren't performance comparisons!) I think everything else can be modified to make one chip look better than the other. Read the reviews I said I liked to see a more fair comparison. "Did any vendors announce (MI?)-Athlon system?" Click on my name and you will find the post about Compaq's Athlon system. PC World tested the Compaq and IBM Athlon systems.
