You ask "what's the point?" Surely you jest. When I see a story on the Front Page of the NY Times headlined: "State Regulators Have Harsh Words For DAy Trading" and other papers, warning people of the dangers of engaging in the very industry that the company in which I am invested is just starting out, filing in all the states, spending capital, and assuming certain income, then YES, I am concerned. And if you're not concerned, or pretend not to be, or talk about other forms of investment, then you are in the same category as thoseon this thread whom you denigrate.
