bearshark,

>>(Of course, this could be the beginning of something really different from the past several years.)

Markets seem to change foundation patterns over time...due to evolutionary pressure and fundamentals. One change today is the after hours markets and mass access to electronic trading. How this changes traditional chart patterns (if at all) and/or our response to those pressures will be important to figure out. Have you seen any indication yet that chart patterns are trading differently because of the abundant software programs, volatility and increase in numbers of traders. It appears that the moves are nolonger as substantial nor sustained as long....off these traditional chart patterns. [But this might be just topping action.]

As I remember from your past posts you were aware of the possibility of failure without strong volume, which never materialized. You were in lightly and waiting for confirmation.

Tommarrow is a due date on the DJIA from pitchfork land off the March low.....Unfortunately the sideways market in the DOW makes it hard to predict which way the market will move. But I'm looking for a a short term rally and more weakness going forward.

Highs are in....but bear rallies will continue.
