Despite my involvement in ballyhoo over WWF wrestler who died in a stunt accident, I did see (dark) humor in the post: basically the Palestinean authorities were upset the Israeli soldiers did too good of a job preventing this man from killing any soldiers with his car. FWIW...let's move on...

I think you've been maligned here. The incident was not funny. But I do think the Palenstinian reaction, as you highlighted, was funny in the sad, not the humorous, sense. That to open fire on a car which has rammed a group of soldiers and is now coming back for round two is hasty and uncalled for -- that IS funny-sad.
