WR...I have bot and sold it a few times and have fared reasonably well. It seems to go on a run every now and then (was in the 70's in May and the 90's in April) that for the most part is inexplicable. Now this time they seem to have something to talk about. How does a 25 cent OTB BB company get Itzhak Perlman as a consultant and board member? I mentioned in a prior post a company I was investing in that made a point of securing high profile individuals for their boards. Seemed kind of wishful thinking at the time but I bot the stock in the teens and within about 6mo it went over 2.00. So I don't discount this strategy because I have seen it work when it is part of a broader effort to raise a company's profile.

Strange things happen on the left coast and I am hoping ISDN has a few more surprises in store for stockholders, of which I am one (had some and bot some). I am not looking for the moon here but today's vol of 76,000 was encouraging (highest vol in a month and a half).

I have a call into the company and if I talk to them I will post what I can.

Itzhak Perlman, World Renowned Violinist, joins
GlobalNet Systems, Ltd's On-Line Entertainment
Network, Inc. as a Consultant and Advisory Board
Member

CHATSWORTH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 10, 1999--GlobalNet Systems, Ltd. (OTCBB: ISDN - news)
announced today that premiere violinist Itzhak Perlman has joined its wholly owned subsidiary On-Line Entertainment
Network, Inc. (OEN) (www.OEN.com), as Consultant and Advisory Board Member.

Mr. Perlman will consult with the company on its acquisition and production of live classical music events and the licensing of
classical music recorded master catalogs. He also joins an advisory board that will advise on future trends and opportunities for
the company. The company intends to add other major artists to its advisory board over the coming months.

''I have listened to and compared OEN to the other music sites and I am extremely impressed and excited with the sound
quality of OEN. I believe the company has the unique combination of true CD quality sound, management with a strong
background in the music industry, live recording and the necessary vision to bring an exceptional Internet music experience into
the consumer's home'', said Itzhak Perlman.

''We are proud to have Itzhak Perlman, the world's premiere violinist, advising OEN in the areas of acquisition for both
recorded and live music content'' said Irwin Roth, OEN's CEO and Chairman.

''The fact that maestro Perlman has chosen and prefers our sound quality over the other music sites on the Internet - says it all!
Our superior sound quality with no downloading, is OEN's solution to the industry's piracy problem,'' said Gabriel Palka,
Director Classical Division of OEN.

The OEN network specializes in netcasting and recording of live concert events, on a sponsored, advertising, and in some
major artist instances, pay-per-listen basis. Additionally, the company offers full tracks and CDs of pre-recorded music and
other audio programs on a pay-per-listen basis, as well as archived versions of OEN's live programs. The company also offers
30-second samples of current music product to support its retail sales. The company is presently lining up its fall live event
schedule to be announced in the coming weeks.

OEN delivers CD quality audio into its customers homes using a specialized audio processing system. Its audio offerings
encompass numerous genres of music, comedy, drama and other audio programming. Its ''click and play'' system plays audio
in real time without audio file downloads resulting in no waiting and enhanced copyright and master protection. The company
intends to incorporate music downloading capabilities once the major record labels have approved an encryption method for
such downloads.

GlobalNet Systems Ltd. is a multi-faceted company developing last mile technology for video on-demand and focusing, through
its subsidiary, OEN, on an Internet audio on-demand entertainment delivery network.
