This situation is "more favorable" than if the financing could not be accomplished at reasonable terms, it is "more favorable" than if the company was not hiring employees daily, or marketing a product, or building it's patent portfolio. As I have argued before, the value of any of these tidbits is highly subjective and that they merely combine to create a "gut feel" that will ultimately make the key buy-sell decision. Also, I wouldn't characterize an institutional investor, that plunked down $6,000,000, as a lemming without knowing who it was...
