FYI for the thread -

(from Soundview)

Yesterday rumors not attributable to any particular source claimed Corning had had problems with Lucent and its WaveStar OLS 400G program that resulted in the company ousting Corning as an amplifier supplier and moving to an 80%/20% split between JDS Uniphase and Lucent's internal operation. We are aware that Corning had some quality issues that lead to a short-term disqualification of their product however the company has been requalified. Given that Lucent is in the early stages of ramping this program it indeed could cause the kind of shift noted in the rumor however this event has already happened.
