Bill,
It can easily be construed as much more than howdy. Are these folks still bothering you can be interpreted anywhere from a simple greeting, to an outright threat.

In any event, the issue at hand is weather this "occurence" will derail GWB's candidacy. My point is that it is too early to tell, but if true it certainly has the potential to do just that.
