Perhaps Apple could do a trade-in campaign. "Tired of that new $400 door stop? Get $200 trade in allowance on a new Blue & White G3 or $100 on an iMac. Hey, we'll even let you keep the door stop to sell at a garage sale. You could even get an extra $50! ... Offer limited, so hurry!"

Where can I get one!?

Apparently eMachines has a deal with Circuit City where CC has exclusive sales for 60 days. After that, they start selling at Sears, Fry's etc. I imagine most of the big national retailers will carry them. They're already on the shelf at Circuit City here in California, but the numbers appear to be small. So far there's been no major fan fare, but I'm sure that will change in the near future.

If you want to check out a pretty cool Flash demo on the Web, then go here:

eoneforme.com

...but don't try it on that IIsi.

And I've gotta say this, Bill. If, after waiting all these years for you to buy a new Mac, you go ahead and buy a Windows knock-off, you're gonna break my heart. You, of all people, should know better. At these prices, the least you can do is buy one of each.

Take care,

Scott
