And then there is this from the GBLX thread: Message 10906445 in which it is asserted that GLW is having problems sourcing high grade silica to make the fiber (liberal translation and no source given). Bulldozer, speaking of the 980's, what's your view of SDLI vs. GBLX in that market space? I know that Pat thinks highly of SDLI (and has done very well by that investment), and it did seem to have some time to market advantages of new pump lasers at higher throughput (if that is the correct term) .
