Pretending for a moment that you are an iMac salesperson, how would you justify the extra $800?

That's what troubles me. I doubt you could find a more dedicated Mac booster than I. But if the eOne doesn't turn out to be a component frying, Windows locking piece of crap, and I was an honest salesman, I couldn't justify the cost difference for most people. I could defend the $399 price somewhat by arguing that the buyer might regret a 3 year contract with an ISP. Especially one that charges $6/ month more than some of it's competitors. But I'm not sure how compelling that strategy would be. What worries me as much is the $400 price difference on a straight buy.
The way I see it, either Steve enriches the iMac feature set, or more likely, drops the price to sub $1000. Or both.
