Dear cm:

Yes, George looked spiffy in his picture. I liked his remark, "I don't think Internet valuations are crazy, I think they reflect a fundamental embrace of huge opportunities." And continues with, "if you are an Internet company today, you are dealing with only a tenth of 1 percent of your potential traffic in just a couple of years. In 10 years, at this rate, there would be a million-fold increase." So, in a way, he did mention Wave, didn't he?

Best regards,
catherineiw

CM-Speaking of E-Sevices, I say HP's E-Payment=Wave.
Here's why:
HP Versecure(as in: All-links-in-Versecure-Web-Page-lead-to-Wave)is a subdivision of Internet Business Solutions Division(IBS). I do not believe that IBS has been offically announced; Versecure was certainly placed into IBS offically only a few days ago.(and with no fanfare with the exception of course being Wave RB) Go to Versecure web page and you will see that IBS is the home page for Versecure.http://www.hpconnect.com/versecure/

Anyway: Go to the IBS site map
internetsolutions.enterprise.hp.com

Check out--E-payment You will get the message: "The requested object does not exist on this server." And why it does not exist officially you will find out shortly.

Now go to Enterprise Computing:
hp.com

Check out the HP definition of E-Payment:
"End-to-end e-payments -- Protecting the integrity of transactions from start to finish for consumers, financial institutions and merchants.

This is certainly the HP/Wave Trusted Client(how else do have "end to end" security/integrity without the trusted client).

Expect an annoucement of HP agreeing to make a significant equity investment into Wave next week.
