Sam, that would of been a challenging job welding a locomotive undercarriage. Was there 10% X-rayed or Mag-fluxed testing of the welds ? Was M.I.G. welding used ? Any T.I.G. involved ? Was uphand used with a 6010 root and hotpass with a 7018 cap and fill or was downhand allowed ? Did you have to stress relieve any of the structure and how did you allow for thermal expansion ?

I sincerely hope you've talked to engineer buddy down at the plant because the G.M. train locomotive is a perfect fit for Global Thermoelectric's fuel cell. The Europeans are chomping at the bit to make a deal, Global Thermoelectric's exhibition booth will certainly be busy in England Sept. 14-17 at the D.S.E.i. Exhibition and Conference.
