SFD, since you felt it necessary to throw a couple of snide remarks my way, i felt compelled to answer your snide remarks.

first of all, you missed the entire point i was trying to make to you. OT thread posts will always surface on any board and i really could care less about them.

my point was that sometimes your ego is so big you can't let someone trying to poke a little fun at you go right on by. this isn't only directed at you, there are many others that act the same way.

SFD, i've always looked at you as one of the more knowledgable persons on this thread but sometimes that large ego just gets in the way as you have to keep reminding us how correct you were in the past or by telling us how many right calls you made.

frankly, i'd prefer if everyone just kept their personal day trading success stories to themselves. for one, there is no way to verify what any of us says is true, myself included. i could tell you guys that i bought 50,000 shares of rhat today at $42 and sold at $50.

so what if someone says's msft was going down to $74 before it goes back up and it doesn't. so what if someone else says msft was going to $100 by april 99 and it didn't. so what so what so what.

this place is to share information about msft and not to BRAG about what you said two months ago or how much money you made trading xyz stock. i don't care if you made gazillions and i really don't think others care too.

do you get my point? leave the big egos at home and go brag to your husbands or wives because many of us here just don't care.

SFD, i'm not trying to pick a pissing match w/ you cause you'll beat me everytime. just remember that it takes bigger person to ingore someone poking fun at you then to fight back.

remember folks, it's never too late to buy msft!!

<OT>
First, let me apologize for the tone of my previous posts as I was (and still am) mad at E*Turd for stiffing me on all NINE IPOs that I've applied for since they went to their Lottery method of allocation. Under First Come, First Served I received 10 of the 12 that I applied for.

However, let me refresh your memory on the message I posted that has caused this ruckus (yours in italics, mine in quotes):

#reply-10911332

I don't know if you guys remember, but I told you when Red Hat IPOs it will be HOT, HOT, HOT. Well look at it now - just came out, symbol RHAT - already up by several hunderd percent.

"Not to be insulting, but that took about as much insight as saying that the Sun will be hot and bright at noon in Phoenix."

Now, ignoring the fact that I meant my message as a jestful ribbing (unfortunately I left out the smiley), the key phrases of the portion of your message that stands out to me is "I told you" and "Well look at it now". That sure looks like bragging to me, especially the "Well look at it now" part.
