Take a deep breath, sound upset there. Remember family first God next then everything else, ATHM will be a double from here by December. This is an excellent mid to long term hold for me here, cya.

Cardcounter... there is heavy support at the current ATHM level (34 ish)... and even if it broke that level and headed down to the low 20's (I don't think it will), your potential profit is 15 points. On the flip side, we know that ATHM can soar on ANY good news, and the upside is only limited by the "quality" of the news. We also know that short interest is heavy in ATHM.
Why don't you calculate the risk/reward and tell me whether a ATHM short makes sense.

Mike

cardcounters are generally referred to as cheats....In this case if you truly believe ATHM is returning to the low 20's you've lost count of events and valuations over the past 1 1/2 yrs. We already have enough fools on this thread trying to talk down the stock....

I will make several points and none of them are intended to change your mind.

ATHM highest valuation for '99 was approx. 90
XCIT highest valuation for '99 was approx. 165

Neither stock has seen the low 20's in over 1.5 yrs....
Both companies are experiencing growth...
BB and eCommerce are in high demand and growth will continue to be outstanding.
The US economy is expected to grow atleast 3% for the next 5 yrs..
The growth rate of the internet itself is still astounding people, I don't see that stopping until everyone is connected.

stop me when I hit a negative point......

ATHM has been under distribution for a while...at some point the sellers will disappear...and everyone whom are holding all these shares...will not suddenly decide to dump them should the stock drop any further...everyone seems to have pipe dreams.....so who's kidding who? Maybe you think broadband and the internet is just a fad?

I'll hold the shares I have, and buy/sell other trading shares when events dictate.

But thanks for the warning that shorts will not cover....I'll wager they will.
