In Dennis Green's defense (a side I'm rarely on), many people felt that his choice to select Randy Moss in the first round of the '98 draft was also ill advised. He had a history as well, and thankfully for Viking's fans, Moss looks to have put it behind him. It appears as though Underwood isn't up for the challenge.

To clarify, the Vikings had two first round picks. Underwood was the second. Daunte Cullpepper was the first. He's the guy of interest IMO. Slotted to play 3rd string QB on Friday vs. the Giants. Cullpepper is bigger than the Viking's largest linebacker and benches over 400 pounds. On a good day, he can throw the ball 80 yards. I'm waiting (hoping) to see him as the lead blocker on an end around. Watch out DBs!

Down with Cunningham, in with Cullpepper! <gg>

Looking forward to Week 3 @ LAMBEAU...

After a phone conversation with ordained minister and former NFL star Reggie White, Underwood decided to return to Minnesota on Tuesday to inform the Vikings of his plans.

He he.....Thanks Reggie! :)
