Can someone respond on this...query I don't know the answers but please do it asap.. I am trading options and the symbol is SP99U, on quote.com, the quote is delayed by 20 minutes but I add to SPX the premium which is a live quote and get pretty good idea of where SP99U is. Please Jeff let me know so that I can get the answers to this query, I have broker who does all this job for me, tell me if e-traders do options.. Dear Ike, I am interested in paper trading the SPU. I seem to have difficulty understanding what the actual trading symbol is at a brokerage like E Trade. The closest I came to was to call up the SPX, then look at the options chain, and like Jeff Jordan posted, there were options listed for August for various SPX levels. Am I looking at the right symbols here ? Seems like I am looking at index options, while you are trading futures. Does a firm like E Trade not trade in S&P futures ? Any suggestions. Trying to learn.
