The lack of Crisis Management concerns me also. As J&J and Coca-Cola discovered to their dismay, failure to step up, take responsibility for failure and outline a course of action results in bad press, loss of customer confidence and high financial costs. Here's hoping that Bernie can grasp the situation firmly, communicate with the customer base candidly and hammer on Lucent to establish an emergency task force to fix the damned problem. I'm very disappointed in management's lackadaisical response to customer outrage. Could investor disappointment also be reflected in the share price? Some advice to Bernie--Seek out those who should have jumped on the problem immediately, and change the faces. There is no place in the WCOM organization for the old laid-back MCI attitudes. RSSheldon
