Thanks Glenn, but that info may be out of date often lockup rules are modified by underwriters as IPO's come closer to the actual launch window. as it so happens, the August 19th date is in fact the end of the lockout period, and there are NO restrictions on the rate in which shares can be sold. (so the 144 rules you quoted don't apply) However, the 2 founders and 1 board member who have these restricted shares, have not indicated any intention of selling, nor have they filed the neccessary S4 with the SEC to do so. So I would have to conclude that this lockout expiration event will not have any significant negetive effect on stock price or float. If anything, the shorts attracted to this stock by the Marketwatch article may be in for a big surprise on the upside once the 19th comes and goes, and we get a relief ralley in all stocks after the Fed meets on the 24th. Bottom line: Continue to accumulate shares in this stock under $30. remember we still are under the statistical threat of 70% of net IPO's falling below their offering price. Considering this issue came out at $22 and already had it's big run to the $80's, there is little hope for hitting that $60 target all those strong buys would indicate, until the broader market and specifically internet sector firms and rallies.
