John ...

You told Paddy ---
do some laundry

I had an opportunity to look this topic up from the marriage manual that the BlueCeltWarrior carries with him.

When doing laundry it is suggested that the following steps be taken, with the understanding that adherence to these directives is imperative to maintain a harmonious balance within the happy household .....

1 -- flex both arms, wrists, and fingers using vigorous motion //
2 -- determine which appendage feels most commanding //
3 -- carefully fold the middle, the fourth and the pinky finger against the palm and cover this group with the thumb //
4 -- with the index finger held rigid away from the wrist then fully extend the arm in the direction of the pile of laundry //
5 -- proceed to slowly move the arm described in the above step 4 to be aimed at the spouse //
6 -- in a clear, concise, and dominant voice intone the words ..... "do some laundry"

Pat was kind enough to share this manual with me, but I discovered that it didn't work in Texas ...
I personally have found this manual to be of no value to me as I used the laundry illustration and one or two others from it and then discovered I had trouble speaking in ANY tone for several days, as my voice couldn't be heard through the bandages, but perhaps it was the swelling, I don't know ----

Maybe this book is only for BlueCelts, or even BlueCelts from NJ ----of which I'm not counted in that group.
